Equatorial Management Consultants Ltd was founded by John Mutisya Mwanzia in the year 2011 but, incorporated in the year 2016. Originally, the company operated as a Recruitment Agency accredited by The Ministry of Labour. John has a wide experience in Human Resource management both locally and internationally. He has hands on development of business profiles, company structures, Human Resource policies & procedures, Human Resource policy manuals and implementation of the same. Equally the same, he is well versed with Recruitment & Selection, on-boarding, development of job descriptions, performance management, Training & development, labour relation & CBA negotiations, payroll management among others . He has experience in structuring and setting fully fledged Human Resource departments from the scratch.

Mwanzia has humbly grown from clerical level and climbed the ladder to hold senior positions such as that of Group HR & Administration Manager. He has worked in diverse industrial sectors ranging from Engineering, Stationery & Printing, Catering & Hotel industry, Agri-chemical, Construction as well as manufacturing sectors.

It was on the strength of the above expertise, skills, abilities and experience that Mwanzia opted into incorporating Equatorial Management Consultants Ltd to optimize his expertise and experience in offering the highly needed and specialized Human Resource consultancy services to profit as well as non-profit organizations.

Equatorial Management Consultants Ltd has the ability to comfortably take the role of Training and, acting as a Human Resource department for small, medium and large organizations. Mwanzia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a bias in Human Resource Management, a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Advanced Certificate in Business Management, Certificate in Business Management and Accounts Clerk National Certificate.
